Vult Terms and Conditions.

The utilisation of the individual Vult app and prepaid debit card is contingent upon the terms and conditions detailed herein below. By acknowledging and accepting the terms and conditions delineated in this agreement, the individual affirms that they have perused and comprehended the terms and conditions articulated herein and consent to be legally bound by them. These terms are accessible for review on our website and mobile application.

Definition and Interpretations.

  • Account means the account opened in the name of the account holder.
  • Account Holder means the person who has registered on the app, applied, for and is issued a Vult prepaid - debit card linked to the Vult application and they will use the card for its intended purpose.
  • Acquirer means the bank or financial institution that processes transactions for products or services provided by a merchant.
  • ATM means an automated teller machine.
  • Card means the Vult prepaid - debit card including any additional, renewal or replacement card(s) that are issued by Vult from time to time to the Account Holder after completion of all security checks.
  • Merchant means the Vult nominated merchant, seller of goods and services and issuer of Vult prepaid - debit card
  • PIN means the personal identification number issued to Account Holder by Vult.
  • Transaction includes, but is not limited to, any payments or withdrawals or refunds arising on the Account Holder’s account.
  • Vult means Vult by Metro Cable (SL) Limited a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Sierra Leone and holding a valid license issued by the Central Bank of Sierra Leone.

Vult prepaid - debit Card Application and Issuance terms and conditions.

This Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions governing the
application for and issuance of the Vult prepaid - debit card ("Card") by Vult ("Issuer") to individual applicants ("Card Holders"). The parties agree as follows:

1. Eligibility and Application

1.1. The Card is available solely to individuals holding a valid government- issued identification card, along with verifiable proof of identification.

1.2. Upon completion of the application process, Vult shall conduct a thorough security check to establish and authenticate the applicant's identification details for validity and authenticity.

1.3. By applying for and using the Vult prepaid - debit card, Card Holders expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

2. Card Issuance

2.1. Upon successful completion of all verification checks, Vult or its authorised agent shall proceed to issue the Card to the approved applicant.

2.2. Card Holders must, upon receipt of their Card, verify the integrity of the seal and promptly notify Vult in case of any breach to avoid liability for resulting losses.

3. Card Activation and PIN

3.1. Card Holders must sign their Card upon receipt.

3.2. A temporary PIN will be provided, which Cardholders must change within 72 hours of activating the Vult prepaid - debit card via the Vult application or a Visa enabled ATM terminal.

4. Confidentiality and Usage

4.1. Card Holders must maintain the confidentiality of their PIN and refrain from disclosing it to third parties.

4.2. The Card shall be used exclusively for lawful transactions within the country of usage for purchasing goods or services.

5. Transaction Monitoring and Statements

Real-time transaction monitoring is available via the Vult app, with monthly statements downloadable on the last working day of each month.

6. Unauthorized Use and Reporting

6.1. Card Holders are solely responsible for safeguarding their Card against unauthorised use and must promptly report any suspicious activities to Vult.

6.2. In case of theft or loss, Card Holders must take immediate action either by freezing the Card via the app or reporting to Vult to mitigate potential losses.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1. All disputed transactions shall be investigated upon written notification from the Card Holder, with Vult reserving the right to request additional information as deemed necessary to support the investigation.

7.2. Investigation timelines vary based on transaction location, with resolutions expected within specified periods.

7.3. For disputed transaction within the Sierra Leone investigation time ranges between 40 to 60 days. For investigations outside Sierra Leone investigations will take between 90 to 120 days.

8. Account Charges

Card Holders agree to bear all charges incurred for transactions made
using the Vult prepaid - debit card.

9. Account Closure and Termination

9.1. Card Holders may close their account at any time, subject to a 30-day written notice to Vult.

9.2. Closure requires either Card destruction or return to the designated address, with continued Card usage rendering the Cardholder liable for associated transactions.

9.3. Vult reserves the right to revoke or terminate accounts for breaches of terms and conditions.

10. Brand Protection and Compliance

10.1. Vult may close accounts or suspend access if fraudulent, negligent, or illegal activity is suspected or to comply with legal obligations, without prior notice.

10.2. Vult disclaims liability for damages arising from such actions.

11. Confidentiality and Data Sharing

11.1. Vult shall maintain the confidentiality of customer information in compliance with applicable laws.

11.2. Card Holders consent to Vult sharing their details with regulators or entities within the group.

12. Amendments

Vult reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, with notice provided to Card Holders upon any changes.

13. Replacements Card Charges

Card Holders may incur charges for replacement cards issued by Vult or its agents.

14. Call Recording

Vult may record calls to its call centres for training and quality assurance purposes.
