● No, VULT is not a bank and does not have a banking license. However, we are a registered fintech licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Sierra Leone.

How do I load my VULT wallet using mobile money or a Visa card?

Click on ‘transfers’ or the ‘add money’ icon in your wallet, select 'add money to wallet', and choose ‘Mobile Money/Card’. Follow the instructions to complete the transaction.

How do I request a virtual or physical VULT card?

Navigate to the 'Cards' section in the app, choose 'Request New Card', and select either 'Virtual' or 'Physical' card based on your preference. Follow the instructions to complete your request.

How can I get my physical VULT card?

How do I convert money?

Traveling Overseas? To convert USD or SLE, users must have two accounts with different currencies. Go to your wallet, click ‘transfer’, select ‘convert currency between wallets’, enter the amount, select the source, and submit.

How do I load money onto my VULT card from my wallet?

Go to the 'Cards' section, select the card you want to load, tap on ‘Transfer’, then 'Load Card'. Enter the source account, and amount, and confirm the transaction.

How can I deactivate, reactivate, or permanently block my VULT card?

● To deactivate your card, go to 'Cards', select the card, click on ‘Options’, and select ‘Freeze Card’. Enter your pin to confirm deactivation.
● To reactivate your card, select the card, click on ‘Options’, and select ‘Unfreeze’. Enter your pin to confirm.
● To block your card permanently, move all funds to attain a 0-balance, deactivate/freeze the card, click on ‘Options’, select ‘Report Lost’, and enter your pin to confirm blocking.

Which ATMs can I withdraw from?

You can withdraw cash from any Visa-accepted ATM globally. Just enter your 4-digit card PIN and withdraw your desired amount.

Are there any fees associated with withdrawing money from an ATM?

Yes. VULT charges 10 SLE for all local withdrawals and $1.5 + 1% service fee for all international transactions.

My card was declined, even though I entered the right PIN. What can I do?

First, check if you have enough balance for the transaction. If there is sufficient balance, and you are sure the ATM dispenses cash, contact customer support to find out whether your card is faulty or the transaction was declined for another reason.

I forgot my PIN number for my card. What can I do?

Navigate to the card in the app, select ‘Options’, then ‘Card Settings’, and click on ‘Change PIN’. You will need to enter your VULT credentials/biometrics to confirm your new PIN.
